Buster
Well, here it goes. I'm starting a blog, in hopes that it will rid me of a crippling insecurity and inspire me to draw more.
Here is the Buster Keaton drawing I drew for my friends Nico and Kali. I don't have much to say about it except that it was done on Vellum paper with some pencils. Uh, yeah. And it was too big for my scanner so unfortunately I just have this picture of it.
You'll probably see a lot of drawings of celebrities faces here. I draw faces because they keep my attention a lot longer than landscapes or still life or whatever, and I draw certain celebrities because I have crushes on them. Buster Keaton has the most beautiful face I've ever seen. I hope I've done it justice.

That is a great likeness of Buster Keaton. His ear might be a little small, but maybe it looks like that in the picture.
This is a great blog idea! Why? Because the world finally gets to see your crazy-good talent in drawing! Cheers! But I can only post comments under my AIM name so I think I'll start one too!

Your Buster Keaton is awesome. I love him , he is my favorite actor. I have met his grandaughter ,and she is Saintly ,and very, sweet . Google Melissa Talmage. She is the sweetest thing that Buster had ever produced.
The funny thing about our act is that dad gets the worst of it, although I'm the one who apparently receives the bruises . . . the secret is in landing limp and breaking the fall with a foot or a hand. It's a knack. I started so young that landing right is second nature with me. Several times I'd have been killed if I hadn't been able to land like a cat. Imitators of our act don't last long, because they can't stand the treatment.
